Regular Jin Shin Jyutsu has helped Dawna reduce the effects of inflammation in her body which caused arthritis, seasonal asthma, allergies, and IBS. Her ongoing personal practice includes practitioner sessions with her mentor who began studying The Art 40 years ago with the Master who brought Jin Shin Jyutsu to the US from Japan.

Your one hour session with Dawna takes place in her quiet studio. As you rest comfortably on a padded massage table, fully clothed, Dawna begins your session by listening to your pulses to discover what is needed to harmonize your body’s flow of energy.
You are always welcome to share any concerns about places of discomfort, which gives Dawna a more complete picture of your current state of being.

What is Jin Shin Jyutsu®?
JIN SHIN JYUTSU® IS A HEALING ART WHICH HARMONIZES THE LIFE ENERGY OF THE BODY.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is basically the study of nature. The Art utilizes 26 locations on the body, referred to as “Safety Energy Locks” (SEL). They are situated along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. In the course of our daily life, one or more of the paths may become blocked, resulting in stagnation that will eventually dis-harmonize the complete path of energy flow. Holding these SEL’s, the practitioner can return the pathway to flow, restoring balance and ease of being to mind, body, and spirit.
Practitioners recognize the Art as the “how to” manual for understanding and living well in the body.
A one hour session with an authorized practitioner lasts about an hour. Jin Shin Jyutsu works with the energy of the body as a gentle art, practiced by placing the fingertips (over clothing) on designated Safety Energy Locks, to harmonize and restore the energy flow. This can reduce tension and stress accumulated through normal daily living. A sense of deep well-being and harmony is often felt immediately during and following a session.
A unique and wonderful aspect of Jin Shin Jyutsu is that anyone can learn to apply the Art through self help. Your practitioner is available to teach you what SEL’s to use to harmonize enery pathways after and between sessions!
