Why Jin Shin Jyutsu®?

When care is ongoing—whether in a critical care setting or in daily life—supporting the whole person matters.

Jin Shin Jyutsu (pronounced gin shin jitsu) is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese healing art that uses gentle touch and breath awareness to help restore the natural movement of life giving energy in the body, optimizing the benefits of conventional medical treatments.

It is offered as a complementary, integrative practice for critical care patients, caregivers (both professional and family/friends), and individuals living with recurring or chronic conditions that flare and recede.

JSJ supports:

  • Resilience and nervous system regulation

  • Reduced stress, fatigue, and tension

  • Greater emotional steadiness and mental clarity

  • Support during periods of flare-ups and recovery.

For medical professionals and caregivers, JSJ provides practical self-help guidance that can be added to daily routines—before, during, and after demanding work days—to sustain presence, focus, and well-being.

For individuals with recurring conditions, JSJ offers gentle support during times of increased symptoms and a calming, restorative approach between flare-ups.

Jin Shin Jyutsu DOES NOT replace medical care. It integrates seamlessly with conventional treatment, supporting the body’s innate capacity to return to balance.
