Cancer Patients: Life-saving conventional medical treatments integrated with Jin Shin Jyutsu®

My Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) practitioner and mentor, Jill, gave a class called “Critical Labels” (“diagnoses”) in which she shared her story of receiving a terminal diagnosis (Lymphoma) when she was in her 30’s. Her health and vitality had been excellent until she mysteriously became very ill. Her ideology about health was one that eschewed conventional medicine. Period.

Oliver Sacks: “There is no place for ideology in illness.”

Her diagnosis became a crisis that challenged her ideas and philosophy of natural, healthy living. But without this medicine, Jill would widow her husband, also a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, to raise their two young daughters alone.

Jill prayed: “Please help me to use this medicine for everything good that it can do and may I get rid of the rest.” In that moment she embraced Western medicine without reservations. She started the chemotherapy and began to feel better and better, even though it is a cumulatively toxic process. She had a complication that necessitated a bone marrow transplant , for which she was given a 50% chance of survival. Jill not only survived, but, supported by daily Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions and her knowledge of self-help flows, she left Stanford Medical Center three weeks sooner than expected. Her oncologist called her “Wonder Woman” and because he was very interested in having an integrative practice, he brought Jill on as a patient navigator in the Oncology Center.

The medical interventions and Jin Shin Jyutsu together, brought Jill to the best possible outcome! I’m so happy to know her and receive her generous teaching and mastery of Jin Shin Jyutsu. She is always available to advise me as I work with critical care patients in my practice in Sonoma and Santa Rosa, California.

A winning combination for all cancer patients is sessions with a JSJ practitioner for regular “house cleaning”, which opens the energy pathways to receive the benefits of conventional medical treatments. Your body will use the treatments efficiently and easily get rid of the rest. Your JSJ practitioner will teach you a simple self-help flow to use before and after each chemo or radiation treatment. The benefits include increased calm, reduced pain and nausea, reduced toxic side effects, and a return to energy and vitality. This support during and after your treatment can help ease you back into your place in the world, balancing body, mind and spirit.

As the author of these blog articles, I confess to being a bit of a body geek. My whole life, I experienced heightened sensitivities brought about by environment, as in allergies. And inner discomforts, which I now can attribute to an emotionally upheaving childhood. I thought I was hypochondriacal at one point and maybe I was! However, when I first met Jin Shin Jyutsu I gained an invaluable ally. Just holding my fingers in my first self-help class relieved anxieties and weird sensations for good … though I didn’t know it until one day I noticed they were all gone.
